Knife Sharpening - NH 570/575 and BC5060/70 Balers

Is it necessary or the preferred method to pull the plunger when sharpening the plunger knife on these balers?

Haven't seen a 570 or 575 up close, but have seen the newer BC5060 and BC5070 balers. The later BC balers have IMHO amazing access to pretty much everything one could ever service via the hinged doors. Do the 570/575 balers have the same access?

It seems that as everything gets newer and "better" with more electronics, on board computers, much design for fast FACTORY assembly without consideration for the end user's service needs, the New Holland BC balers IMHO appear to be really simple in design and service access.

But.....

On my 68, it's easier to pull the plunger to sharpen it's knife. How do you sharpen the plunger knife on your New Holland 570/575 or BC5060/70 baler and how often do you sharpen it? Has New Holland made this an easy chore?
