The vegetable processor I grow for is requesting organic production and the prices they are offering look to be too good to pass up. I have a couple of pivots of 1 year old alfalfa that I will likely transition to organic. Has anyone had any success at cultivating winter annual broad leaf weeds out of established alfalfa? 1st cutting will be taken early for dairy hay so it doesn't need to be 100% weed free but the less weeds the better.
