JD discbine cutter bar.... need advice please

Finally fed up enough with my jd 1600 haybine after this year. Boughthe me a 946 jd impeller conditioner. Seller said cutterbar needed some gears replaced... gotta it cheap.

I just tore into it today pulled cutterbar completely apart revealing 7 on the big gears totally shot and 4 of the small ones shot. My question is about the 11 gears that are "pretty good". They only have a few small chips and dings, are they OK to run or will I be asking for trouble? New gears cost 230 used 150.... so to redo the whole thing would be 4000$!!!
