Baler thrower question

I've always heard when you bought a bale thrower they moved the rear tire on the New Holland back. Was that a kit or was it just different bolt holes. My neighbor had a 268 like mine but the chamber Side Tire was moved back. I never thought to look to see what it was before he sold it.
