What annual to plant?

So, I lost my 10 acres of corn after a severe rain two weeks ago. So now I'm curious about what you guys would do. I plan to plant winter wheat or barley with a alfalfa grass mix in
late August or no till alf-grass in the spring. I'm curious to know what you would put in for the next month and a half if anything. Any ideas on how to plant the grass stand are appreciated too.
