Teff Residue

I had planned on 40ac of Teff here in Idaho in a field that will need to be worked up into a fair seedbed condition the following spring. Anybody know what kind of root ball and stalk residue I'll be facing? I'll most likely have to rely on discing or maybe discing in the fall and plowing in early spring. Plowing it straight under would put it right about the depth we run the fumigation shanks.
