Planting, do I need to drag?

I am planting Timothy,Orchard Grass, and Brome today. I am using a three point broadcast spreader. Soil is clay to clay loam, it varies across the field.
We are to get some rain today, possible thunderstorms. Will the rain cover the seed enough, or should I stick to my plan and drag some cattle panels?
Should I wait to see how much rain we get, and drag tomorrow?
