John Deere 2280/300 twin knife swather set-up?

Hello,

I found what I thought was good deal on a 2280, The motor shelled out about 15 Ac later.

I replaced the motor and it runs good now, But It doesn't cut like I think it should.

The head was slipping and the augers were not pulling the hay in, like they should.

Im not sure what was slipping, Im thinking it might have been the large pulley under the cab that powers the head.

 

I had to put the head on it myself, and I need to know where to set the "jack bolt" stops that control the head?

And also the turn buckles that set the angle of the head?

Also any  general suggestion on how to set it up right?
