How much play with washers/spacers on Deere drive rollers?

Changed a bearing on my 556 baler, top front drive opposite the chains. Noticed I could put more washers in. Is there a standard for how much play there should be? Without measuring there is probably 3/16-1/4” behind bearing and maybe the same on outside before pin.
