3pt cat 1 scissor lift weights

Im trying to be practical with my budget and size and keep things safe. When using a scissor lift for round bales on a trailer how to I figure the tractor and lift requirements? I realize its not as good as a proper sized front loader but I wont have too much to move and am on a smaller budget.
