Vermeer tedders

So trying to make hay, and I do mean trying as it aint drying.

Tedded it for the sixth time today, even after all those passes I notice the wettest still finds its way to the bottom which places it on moist ground.

So the question is this, do the TE series of Vermeer tedders with the hook tines really do a better job of getting  the wet stuff to stay on top? 

One thing I did notice, my NH169 covers 22 1/2 foot while the TE250 covers 25 foot, that would place rotors 1/2 and 5/6 over the rows better so it might spread more evenly.
