Krone V150 xc

Bought this baler last year, overall very pleased. From time to time the tailgate latches do not pull up into place. The latches are attached to the bottom of the tailgate cylinders, as these are single acting cylinders, does anyone know how they draw up the latches after the tailgate closes? The problem occurs intermittently, all pivot points cleaned and lubricated. Any thoughts appreciated.
