I realize there are lots of variables including location, climate, equipment, employees, storage, type of bale, etc.
We make almost unanimously small squares in IL, mostly alfalfa or mix acres. One baler/accumulator setup, might go with 2 in the future.
Whats the most bales a guy can put through a small square baler in a season, in the midwest?
One of my biggest concerns with lots of acres would be a wet/humid year in which dry hay is a constant fight.
Those guys wet wrapping big squares or rounds can sure cover some ground. I'm just curious more on guys trying to make dry hay.
How many acres can you run
