Class liner 650 twin slip clutch

Came across an option to buy a line 650 twin with a diagnosed problem of slip clutch issues in the back rake.

Info on the web seems to be hit or miss on if this is a common problem or how expensive the fix might be.

Overall condition of the rake is decent, not bent up, arms and tines all good etc.

Is it worth making him an offer or am I asking for trouble even at a steal of a price?
