I am having trouble getting the governor adjusted on my 1283 it will not kick in at the plunger strokes just pulls the engine down and want come back up,looks like the governor is working,tore it down and it all looked good,the engine has good eccaleration seems to have plenty of power,how does your governor work on yours this is the original ford 240 six cylinder with the pierce governor
