I am wondering if anyone would be able to help me out with a question I have? My family has a piece of land with irrigation on it and I am wanting to put it into alfalfa hay. So I was wondering if anyone would know how many cuts I would get in the first year. I have it down on paper that I would get 1.5 T on the first cut and 1 T on the second cut. Are these numbers to low or to high? I know there are a lot of variables, but I am currently just trying to get a rough estimate. Any help would be greatly appreciated guys! TIA.
