My LS185b seat belt light will not go off. I tested for 12 V coming into the seat wiring harness behind the seat and my voltmeter flashes between 12V and other numbers never showing a solid, consistent 12 V reading. The instrument panel lights do not come on when I sit down with the key in the off position, I have replaced a seat belt switch and lap belt, I checked the relays and the 5 amp fuse in the engine compartment and they tested good.... I am wondering what my next step should be and why I dont get a solid 12V reading at the square shaped connector where the seat belt wiring harness plugs into the line coming from the engine compartment...?
