Oat/peas baleage

Missed my opportunity last year to get my stand of feacue/clover/rye planted in the fall. So my next option is to spring seed it into 30 acre field that was sorghum Sudan last year.

I was thinking if putting in an oat/pea mixture for a decent first cut for baleage and help the the grass get started.

Good/bad/ideas?
