getting a new silage baler in this spring, have read through the owners manual and talked to sales rep about the break in process. Book tells you to make 100 dry bales at 50% pressure and at least 6 inch under max diameter. I have an understanding that it is break the belts in and to get initial wear on the side walls. My issue is the first 500 bales i have planned for it will be silage bales, not dry as the book recommends. My first thought was to rebale a corn stalk bale and let it spin the chamber for 5-10 minutes. Didn't get a solid answer back from sales rep so im reaching out to see if anyone has been in similar situation
