Yesterday I had 15 acres sprigged with coastal sprigs dug yesterday morning. Spriggs were back in the ground within a few hours. A few weeks ago we received 8+ inches of rain with good moisture still in the soil. Should I expect to see the sprigs sprout and take off this year? How long to cover the field? The sprigs were put out at 35 bushels per acre with fertilizer in the ground a few months back. I am located in south Texas 20 miles from the coast. Most winters it doesn't get to cold here. Thanks
