I found this while looking the cutting height of standard shoes on a New Holland DiscBine. Interesting article from the Univ. of Tennessee. Not sure I agree on the placement of cylinder limiters on a NH Discbine lift cylinders because that means the head could just be hovering above the ground and anytime I've seen that the head bobs up and down with the header flotation springs. High Stubble shoes on a DiscBine like we run will get you about 5" cutting height max. according to NH but I think it's more like 4". Not sure if the first article has been posted before but I've posted the second one in the past.
