Removing crank bearings on CaseIH 8575/Hesston 4755 3x3 baler

HayTalk,

 

I'm trying to remove a crank bearing/housing off our 8575 baler.  It is the bearing where the crank arms meet up to the plunger's connecting arms.  We were pounding and prying on it last night with no luck.  Do we need to put head to the shaft/bearing assembly?  Or get behind it with an air hammer?
