Low lignin alfalfa seed prices??

Anyone heard any current prices for new low lignin alfalfa seed? Yesterday seed guy told me $11.40/lb. super expensive I know, but I'm thinking if it's as good as they say, should pay itself back on first full production year just from increased price. Plan on planting 20 or 30 acres this year.
