Spring is a comin and I wanted to test my hay seed for germination. This seed (Timothy Orchard Brome) is 3 years old and been stored in my barn on pallets. This is not temperature regulated and we got to minus 30 c for like 20 days this winter. I couldn't believe my results. 90% Germination still with 3 year old seed stored like a typical poor farmer haha. Damp paper towel rolled up with seed inside. Then placed in ziplock bag for 5 days. Any how just curious how you guys store your seed if your shop isn't heated. Also how many years after production can you get germination?
