JD 336 baler hitch

Was just wondering if anyone else had this on their hitch and would removing it and using the regular (lack of a better name,I don't know the name) be an issue it's a pain in the ass I've used it for 4 years had some time today started thinking, always dangerous when I'm thinking lol
