1475 haybine with 2300 header knife question

The knife on my 2300 header is supposed to have different sections for the rh side, lh side, and middle. I have changed the lh side and middle with no problem, but I went to change the rh side, and there is no room for the rh repair section. The only thing g I can do is to replace the regular sickle section on the end with another regular sickle section. I’m not sure if this is clear enough, but what I’m saying is that the repair rh section will not fit where it is supposed to. I have to use a regular section instead, resulting in a shortened knife. What am I doing wrong?
