Tedders.......large diameter rotors vs small dia.

I'm ready to pull the trigger on a new 6 basket carted Tedder. I was pretty well set on the Vermeer TE250, but have found out I can buy an 8 basket Kuhn 7902T for about the same money. They are within a handful of inches of the same working width. Anyone have any first hand experience with the newer style small basket tedders vs the standard size rotors? In theory the small rotors spread the hay out more evenly, but I know the Vermeer's have an excellent reputation of doing that as well. Dealership distance/service set aside............any reason I should buy the Kuhn over the Vermeer?
