John Deere 410

I have a friend who recently purchased an old John Deere 410 round baler. He has been going through it getting everything running and had it baling until the gear case output shaft (part # E60922) broke. He called the closest John Deere dealer and they said they could no longer get that part (which I thought John Deere was supposed to be able to get about anything for old equipment, just might cost ya) . Does anyone know anywhere else he could find one? We are located in Western North Carolina. Thanks!
