new to haying, sickle bar and then.....

Hi all,

 

I bought a small acreage that has about 6-acres of irrigated hay (mostly grass, a little alfalfa).  I have a Kubota L4200 (42-horse) tractor right now.  It is impossible to find someone to bale it for me and I don't want to run animals.

 

So, I'm thinking about getting a sickle bar mower (I'm near Cody, WY.  Very dry and little precipitation).  I also have access to a small baler (probably another thread someday).  What I don't know is how to develop a windrow after it has been sickle bar mowed.  What kind of hay rake would you recommend and why?

 

I think my options are a wheel rake or side-delivery.  Are there other options?  What are the pro's or con's?
