Hey guys this is my first post here on hay talk. I've been throwing around the idea of trying to sprig coastal to blackland soil for additional hay pasture. Where I'm located here in North central tx all the sandy loam soils are taken only leaving blackland available for farm lease. Is it worth effort or not to try farming coastal in blackland soils? Any advice from you experienced guys like Mr Hay Wilson would be great!
