Seeding new field

Hey everyone, I have a 10 acre field that is all harrowed up and ready for seed. I cannot find a drill seeder or billion anywhere that I can rent. Since the ground was rounded up and harrowed numerous times, can I just broad cast the seed with a 3 point hitch spreder? I have a 16' cultipacker I could then roll over to pack the seed bed. Thoughts on this? The seed will be a Timothy, orchard grass mix. No Clover. Thanks guys
