Draper head for JD 3430

Guys I purchased a 1990 John Deere 3430 self propelled mower. I need some help from the Midwest guys or gals. It comes with a 300 mower head but I need a draper head to cut Wheat with. Being in Georgia these machines are almost non existent and I can't find any info on that older model. I found a jd78 draper head that claims to be off a 2420 machine. Will this head fit my 3430, if not what model do I need to look for? Any help will be greatly appreciated.
