Using 1049 in short barn

I have used 1037 pull type bale wagons for years and need to replace current one but NH stopped making them.  All my barns (3) are 14' clearance.  My neighbor has a 1049 that he want to sell but of course the dumping height is greater than the 14' foot I have.  My question is, do you think I could dump the 1049 if i didn't completely fill the 1049-like only put 7 tiers on instead of 9 or go 5 high on the last tier instead of 6?  I know the maximum height is about mid tilt and is the top bales of the last tier that are the highest, not the table itself, after this point the height actually decreases.
