Finished up mowing for the season today, and noticed while cleaning the machine that I'm getting a scraping sound every 45 degrees of so of rotation from the upper roll bearing - the one near the gearbox. Machine is three years old and has around 500 acres on it, so I imagine it is a quality Chinese bearing. I replaced those bearings once on my old 411, but things look a lot tighter on the H7230. I need to get a shop manual, but is it possible to remove that bearing and swing arm without pulling the gearbox?
