Vermeer baler 5400,made in USA ??

well a few years ago I was looking for a round baler. found the vermeer 5400. Looked good for what I have to do.

Now less than 3000 bales through it. Already replaced the belts. This week a well lubed chain broke, Stamped CHINA right on the chain. Made in USA and even IOWA ? . don't think so. 

        I noticed a color change in the paint near a roller. Yeah bearing was hotter than heck. .

 

So less than 3000 bales and less than 3 years old.  already new belts , chain and now bearing is heating up.
