Correct me if I'm wrong but the shoes are not supposed to ride on the ground but instead help keep the cutter bar above the high spots right?
Can someone give me an idea as to how low to set the shoes? Or is this another one of those "your preference" things? I had a couple of spots where my bar dug a little and some of the grass was cut very short. Not scalped but you could easily see the dirt but it came right back after some rain. Just seeing what others have done/are doing.
