This is my first post here. I am in Eastern Va near the Chesapeake Bay. A friend of mine has about 30 acres of nice oat hay coming along and he asked me to help him overseed it with some clover. We are considering planting some alfalfa in some of the fields. I have done this with success on my own land with just a broadcast spreader and an old rotary hoe but that oat field was thin. This oat field is THICK and the plants are about 2 inches high. I am thinking we may need to use his no till drill (but he has no small seedbox). Any input would be appreciated. Thanks!
