Bermuda Grass, Coastal, Tifton 85 & 44 - Stand Lift?????

Been reading a bit on Bermuda grass and it's variants.  While some can be seeded, planting sprigs sounds like has the most common?

 

What I haven't found is how long does a sprig'd or seeded stand of Bermuda grass last.  Timothy 3-4 years is a common read, OG - thinning out after a few years....

 

What kind of a lifespan in years does Bermuda grass offer?
