Draper swather heads with conditioners

Who has experience with running a draper head with conditioner? On dry land alfalfa/grass it would be nice to run a 25'-30' draper with a conditioner to get the alfalfa stems to dry. I like a 16' for irrigated alfalfa and running a 2303. My other option is upgrade to the 19' disc head. Upto 2100 acres of dry land I'm looking at picking up. Going slower with a bigger head seems like it would be easier on machine and operator. Looking forward to hearing what y'all have experienced.
