Elk Damage

Every year we are sustaining damage to our ranch from elk trespass.

They raise cob with our growing hay, hay stacks, fences and even injure cattle on occasion.

I thought I would start this thread to share our experiences as well as learn new techniques on reducing impacts.

I would ask members to limit posts to large grazing wildlife and perhaps bears as they also go after forages. I think that if someone wants to get into bird or rabbit damage that would fit better in it's own thread. The same makes sense with predator issues.

A technique that crosses over to the large grazers would certainly be an exception.
