I just completed shimming the bale chamber on my NH 1282 self propelled baler,it makes the bigger 16+18 inch bales which are too heavy so I narrowed the chamber down to 14+18 and put a plunger in it out of a 277 baler which is the smaller brother to this baler and after a few bugs it works great and makes a nice 14+18 bale it took some engineering but finally got it done. Went and cut some old frosted hay and it baled with good capacity and good square shoulder bales had that governor working on that engine sure sounds good.
