3pt leaf blower build

Hi all, I have a old pull type Billion crimper  that has a good gear box and I'm thinking about building a leaf blower.. 

 

I would like to know what type of fan I could use ??  

 

Not sure yet what ratio the gear box is yet.....

 

Direct drive or belt & pulley.....

 

Cage type fan like blowers in a furnace or would another type work better ??

 

Lets see what others have out there and your thoughts what would or might work....
