JD 328 Square Baler problem

Hey folks I am having trouble with the plunger slides getting very hot while baling. I took it to my JD dealer and was told I am keeping it too clean. So I quit cleaning it so good at the end of the season and started applying grease to the surface of the slide I don’t see any grease fittings to lube the slides so I am only applying it to the direct surfaces. It is still getting hot Any tips or suggestions to address this problem. Thanks for any help.
