Sorghum Sudan planting

So this will be my 3rd year planting SS however I've always been able to get it in on time. This year not so much. The ground is dry, no rain in the forcast and the clay soil is brick hard chunks. Drilling in with a 5300 soybean special.

Should I wait until rain or go for it? I just got done with 6 acres but have another 20 to do. I'd rather get it in if it will hang out and wait for the rain compared to waiting for the forcast and not having the time due to my job.

Any tips?
