I Rent a 16.5 acre field, we had strait oats there this year. Cant get a real long term commitment on the land but I am going to take a chance on alfalfa and would plant in next 5 days . Cheap seed is necessary due to the rental term risk. Can get a good blend out of DEKALB for $150ish . Roundup Ready Seed would make life much easier at this place, and I would go that way depending on price . Anyone hear any good prices on RR Alfalfa Seed .
