I had a bunch of preventative plant ground this year. Planted Sudan grass on 200 acres with the hope of baling it dry. It’s currently 3-4’ tall and stems are roughly 1/8” thick. Admittedly did this without a plan to get it dry. I’ve been reading older comments on the impossibility of getting it fit very fast. Weather here is dicey. Looking for advice. Was wondering if running it through a flail shredder (normally used on corn stalks) would be an option?
