Well after 17 years and a little over 2500 hours, I said goodbye to my Blue Buddy. It has been a great tractor, but as we have gotten into the goats more we found we were needing to switch between tractor duties and mowing duties too much and I was spending too much time doing that. Combine that with the fact that we are now feeding round bales and the New Holland struggled with some of them. Combined with the fact the mower deck was really starting to show its age, we decided for it to see other pastures.
We have purchased a Spartan SRT XD w/ 37 HP Vanguard with fuel injection and a 72" deck to take over mowing duties. I have then ordered a Kubota L3301 to take over the tractor duties as I'm not a fan of the new LS made New Hollands. Just some things with it that don't sit right with me. So I'm changing my colors from blue to orange.
