Wheel rake question

Thinking about a H&S AR10 wheel rake to replace my 256 rake. I do round and square. Reading older posts it was mentioned the windrow made by the wheel rake would be too large for my 336 sq baler. Couldn't t just rake with one side locked up for sq and dropp both down while round baling? Or would rotary rake be better for me. I cut with a 926 moco. Thanks for any advice
