7' land pride finish mower value?

Im a contractor (build portable sheds, do some barn restores, metal roofs and post frame construction), and i barter quite a bit. I have a guy wanting to trade a land pride 7' finish mower and i dont know what to value it at. Its clean and operates properly, he doesn't know how old it is, and says it had a new gear box a few years ago. Its not something id use so id put it right up for sale. What could i expect to get for it? I researched elsewhere online but found a VERY wide range (like $400-$2000).
