Previous owner (or his son) had installed a Warn 4500-S winch and placed the switch adjacent to the LED Lightbar switch such that while operating the RTV it's very easy to hit the winch switch instead of the lightbar. This creates the potential to inadvertently stress the winch ever-tighter.
I first considered adding another switch to disable the system … but then realized all I had to do was disengage the clutch on the end of the winch to prevent it. Can't think of any problem with that. (The way I use the RTV so-far makes it difficult for me to believe I'll ever need a winch anyway.)
But it's also a great excuse to brag about my adding a winch-hook-stop-cushion that matches the Kubota instead of those common black ones, heh?
